Normally, carrageenan or Agar manufacturer use filter press for the residue removing after carrageenan extraction. BUT our filter press system is designed to dewatering the carrageenan (or Agar) concentrate after KCL precipitation.The traditional dewatering method as below:

What we are doing now is to replace all these facility by the high pressure dewatering filter press. 

Our filter short the cycle time to 3 hours and each cycle produce 300 Kg dry agar. each machine requires for only one operator. It helps to low down the labor cost, electricity cost and makes more clean products.
